to get my charges dropped. local nissan dealership told me $60 diagnosis fee, and $120 to change the temp sensor. it was a 5 minute job and they said it took 1.5hrs (according to book). i told the "big man" i talked to that it wasn't a 1.5hr job, it was a 5 minute job, i'll pay for part but not that much labor, and if he didn't like it, they can take the part back off and i'll pay the stupid $60 diagnosis fee and be done. he told me they usually do everything according to what the book says, even if it's wrong, and the book listed 1.5hrs for the job. he dropped the $120 labor charge down for me. he was pretty understanding but it was still a ridiculous amount of money. you've got to get higher than the service manager, the one here was a friggin' moron and the man i talked to knew it, but didn't care 'cause he brought in money...
